There is pleasure in the pathless woods, there is rapture in the lonely shore, there is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar; I love not Man the less, but Nature more.

The past few weeks has been challenging for me. Its been incredibly busy at work and juggling work and personal space has been a struggle, not to mention all that’s been going on in the news lately!

All of these heaviness were beginning to wear me down and clearing my head was all I needed to keep going. I began to draw closer to the things that help when I feel like this, i.e spend some time alone with my Maker,  Exercise and Spend Quality Time around Nature. Different things  will work best for people but it is important to find those things that help you DECLUTTER and do them regularly. I am still learning to incorporate these routines into my everyday life.
I’ve heard people say, I don’t like routines! To some, it can be difficult but routines helps me a lot.  Surely, I won’t be able to blog, be with friends and family, incorporate daily exercise,  quality alone time, and my job without some form of routine in my every day life.  What do you do to DECLUTTER? Leave comments below 🙂

On this particular Saturday, I planned to catch up with two friends and we agreed to meet at Regent’s Park. I have visited this park a few times but this time was different, I visited the famous “Rose Garden” for the first time! Would you believe that in my years of visiting this park, I’ve never been to the Rose Garden??!
As you know, I like to bring history into my writing, so here it goes! 🙂

Regent’s Park is one of ‘The Royal Parks’ in London situated between City of Westminster and Borough of Camden. Finding your way to this park on the tube should be very easy, if you get on the Bakerloo line heading towards Harrow and Wealdstone, get off at Regent’s Park. The park is literally 2 minutes walk from the station. I’d advise to travel by tube to this park as parking can be very difficult in this part of London.

This Park was designed by John Nash, covers 395 acres and includes Queen Mary’s garden which features more than 12,000 roses of 400 varieties. There are excellent sport facilities including the largest outdoor sports area in Central London and variety of activities namely; an Open Air Theatre, the London Zoo, gardens and a boating lake.

The girls and I bought some snacks, bottle of wine (of course, no relaxation without alcohol- am sure you agree!:)) and a cloth for the grass. We sat down, with some food, a glass of wine and the discussions began!

I love my girlfriends – they always manage to turn an ordinary time together to a memorable one! We did what we girls do best….. (leave that to your imaginations!) It was indeed a great day for the park with people playing and animals doing the same. I enjoy when the sun is out in London, people are much friendlier! Do you agree? 🙂

Sadly, they are no longer on sale at Elsie’s Attic but I found a jumpsuit quite similar at  Ivrose.comShoes are from my favorite shoe shop  Kurt Geiger  which were bought two years ago, similar shoes can be bought at Selfridges.com and finally the hand bag is from Longchamp . Shop my entire outfit for less than £100!
Happy shopping!

Mentally declutter when I’m doing something boring- like the washing up! It sounds really stupid but whilst my hands are doing something dull and mundane by brain can race away, and clear out the cobwebs and worries!

    • Corgis are just the best! I want one myself 🙂 Totally agree with you, doing mundane tasks like washing up, cleaning, ironing, cooking help me declutter too! Wow, awesome how you’re all very similar 🙂 Thanks so much for commenting and reading! x
