I live in London, and it’s now years since I’ve been using affirmations to help me set goals, feel as motivated as possible, and ultimately live a healthier and happier life. And the reason I’m writing this article is for you to see how easy it can be to start using this powerful tool which can also help you live a better life. Affirmations are like a little voice in your head. Well, not quite, but close enough. Actually, it’s more like a kind of therapy about how you feel about things. How they work for me might be different than how they work for you. I found affirmations very helpful through hard times and have been doing them since my early years. Affirmations can really help you out – no matter who you are and what you’re doing in life. For me, I prefer using ‘I Am’ affirmations. I want to enjoy being who I am and there is no better way to do that than affirming my own beauty, power, and uniqueness.

If you are like most people, you already knew that positive affirmations work. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be reading this right now. I use to think “they” were full of crap as well. That is until it actually happened to me! When my life took a drastic change for the worse, like many people would find this situation depressing. To my surprise, it wasn’t! I found myself in an unfamiliar positive environment that I was enjoying more with each day that passed. Then one day, a few months later, I accidentally came across a post about positive affirmations and how they can help in ANY circumstances. Before I get into the details of how affirmations worked for me, I’d like to share one thing with you. No matter who you are, or where in life you are, (it really doesn’t matter) you have a choice to make as to what your life will look like. If you want more from your life, read on.

I was once very shy and timid about doing any public speaking. But slowly, as time went by, I was able to get into this talking thing.  I began doing simple affirmations every morning before work and instantly felt better. Within a year, my sense of self-confidence had returned and I began attracting people and opportunities that had been out of reach before. Today, my life is a far cry from the person who can be described as been very shy.

Almost every day, I see at least one or two new blogs about affirmations and how they changed the writer’s life. I know that some of these articles are completely made-up to get people to link to their blog. That’s why I decided to create my own blog post about my personal experience with using affirmations.  The idea of affirmations is a widely popular self improvement tool. The concept is simple, they are statements you repeat to your subconscious mind in order to reprogram your thoughts, desires, words or actions. They are the opposite of negative thinking and remove the blockages holding you down from progressing in your life.

We don’t see our lives through the eyes of a child. We are inclined to see our life with all its ups and downs as fate, as just the way it is. We’re reasonable in that way – we never thought that we could actually influence how our lives turn out when that actually turns out to be the case. We’ve been lied to, or rather had our conscious minds lied to. I think that affirmations are part of the key to success and happiness in life. As of today, if you ask me, how affirmations worked for me and changed my life? I’m sure, my answer will be: “Affirmations work for everyone.”. That’s true if you know how to do them correctly. Many people go wrong because they don’t really get the meaning of affirmations. That is why you should read this which will cover all the things about affirmations that you must not miss out.

I read books, watched videos and surfed the Internet everyday to increase my knowledge of Law of Attraction. I think law of attraction works but I wanted to take it to the next level. I tell you affirmations and taking actions have helped me enhance my life in a way that is sustainable.

 Mornings are the best time to determine how you want the rest of the day to go. It’s why positive morning affirmations can be very powerful—and a great opportunity to practice repeating them in the mirror. Here are some of her suggestions:

  1. I am beautiful and everybody loves me;
  2. Life brings me only good experiences. I am open to new and wonderful changes;
  3. I feel glorious, dynamic energy. I am active and alive;
  4. Every experience I have is perfect for my growth;
  5. Today I create a wonderful day and a wonderful new future;
  6. Abundance flows freely through me;
  7. My self-esteem is high because I honor who I am.

Affirmations are extremely powerful. They alter your subconscious thoughts and can influence how you think, how you feel and even what you do in life. For years I couldn’t understand how affirmations worked but now I better realize how beneficial they can be.  Following affirmations is one of the best ways you can make positive changes to your life. I know from experience because it transformed my life. After reading this article, you will be able to understand what it means to use affirmations, and gain a clearer picture of how they work. Affirmations help to quiet your mind and create new habits that will change your life for the better.

However, I must warn you, without taking actions, affirmations are utterly useless. Here is an article on how to overcome imposter syndrome especially when you want to take action.
